What happens
This is an AI-generated short drama set in a historical Chinese village during a severe drought. The protagonist is an overweight young woman married into a poor farming family. Facing starvation, she secretly uses hidden wheat seeds to make large steamed buns to feed her husband, children, and elderly parents-in-law, despite being accused of theft by her mother-in-law. Her husband, Yan Jin, is a muscular laborer. In a fantasy element, she travels to the modern world, purchases rice and food, and brings it back to save her family. The story focuses on themes of sacrifice, family survival, domestic conflict, and the protagonist's determination to protect her household, all presented with synthetic voices and AI-rendered visuals.
